Eligibility Statement and AMI

We are one of the lead developers of attainable housing for workers and residents in need of stability and a path to wealth.

WeBuild Concord supports attainable housing for workers and other vulnerable populations. We want to ensure quality housing is stable, affordable, and near economic development and amenities whenever possible. Our goal is for households to spend no more than 30 to 34% of their income on rent or mortgages.

Because we believe in mixed-income neighborhoods where all people can thrive, we base eligibility on a range of resident incomes using Area Median Income (AMI). We categorize eligibility based on Affordable, Workforce, and Market homes. You may use the following definitions and table below. However, we urge all individuals to apply for homes, as we offer houses for various residents in mixed-income settings.

Eligibility Housing Definitions

  • Affordable Housing – Reserved for households living at or below 80% of the AMI.
  • Workforce Housing – This designation is for households living at or below 120% of the AMI.
  • Market Housing – These homes account for a small part of our homes in mixed-income developments. There are no income limits placed on these homes.
