The Lincoln Street Townhomes: A Dream No Longer Deferred

WeBuild Concord has worked with the Logan Community of Concord for almost two years to develop a plan for the Lincoln Street Townhomes Project site. The Lincoln Street Townhomes will have 26 townhomes for ownership. The project aims to create more significant ownership opportunities in a community with low ownership rates and financial options. Along with the project, WeBuild advocates for more amenities and business development in and around the area. Site work began on September 19 with our project partner, Harmon Construction. 

The most challenging aspect of the project is infrastructure. In older neighborhoods, water and sewer systems, streets, sidewalks, and setbacks create barriers to development. These barriers impact affordable projects more than others due to revenue and expense margins. Lincoln Street requires us to place and raise more resources to ensure Logan Community members and prospective residents have a greater opportunity for the American dream of homeownership. We hope private individuals, foundations, corporations, and government will join us in revitalizing neighborhoods.
