A Milestone Moment at Concord City Hall

On Tuesday, August 19, community leaders, elected officials, and partners gathered at Concord City Hall for a historic announcement: the launch of the Revolving Construction Gap Loan Fund.

This innovative fund will provide short-term, low-interest construction loans (1- 3%) to nonprofits and social ventures, making it possible to build more affordable and workforce housing across Cabarrus County.

From the podium, local leaders, including WeBuild CEO Dr. Patrick Graham, Chairman of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners Jeff Jones, and Down Home Carolina member Jerome Jennings, emphasized the importance of collaboration in tackling housing needs and reaffirmed their commitment to creating lasting opportunities for families in our community.
